I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Shield AI (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2026
Interview
Interview process had 4 rounds that happened over the course of about 3 weeks. Started off with a conversation with the Hiring manager to talk about the job, some technical questions, and a brief discussion of my resume. Next step was a 1.5 hour coding screening. After that was a technical interview going over the experience on my resume. Last was the onsite which had 4 other interviews (Presentation of a topic of my choice, Values, Team work, and technical interview on general state estimation topics).

Interview
coding round, HM round and final onsite round. Spent so much time making sure my project presentation was covered in as much depth as possible on top of working a full-time 100% onsite job and yet didn't make it with tons of prior experience - felt like a total waste of time and effort and highly recommend not wasting your time on this company.
