Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Shiftgig (Atlanta, GA) in August 2016.

Interview

It was a joke. I was a brought in a room with 20 other applicants and they interviewed everyone one person at a time asking 5 to 6 questions which is a waste of everyone's time. It was not personable and showed lack of professionalism.

    Interview

It was crap. My interview was in a room with 20 other people. It made for a crap interview and was not very personable. It was told to keep it short and sweet. Very unprofessional.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shiftgig (Atlanta, GA) in October 2016.

    Interview

1st attempt I was literally 1 minute late and they would not let me in. Upon the 2nd attempt, I was herded into a room with a motley crew of hopeful workers. They gave the impression that I had an appointment for a personal interview, but that was simply not the case.

    Interview

Pretty easy but done via a group, takes about two hours after filling out all the necessary paperwork and forms. They mention all the training and high paying gigs but most of them are minium wage and menial

    Interview

They usually do a group interview so be ready to compete with other candidates. Give your best answer and be simple about it. Try not to be nervous and it's better because it's a group interview.

    Server/Bartender Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Houston, TX
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Shiftgig (Houston, TX).

    Interview

Basically a cattle call. Half of the people showed up late and no one from the company cared. They showed us this horrid video of the staff dancing and twerking in the office. I'm not sure what kind of audience they were catering to, but it was bizarre and unprofessional. The "interviewer" just rambled on about how cool the company founders are and kept saying "cool beans" to everything. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth. At the end they photographed all of my private info (birth certificate & license), but I never heard back. Overall a hugely disappointing experience in a company I used to respect.
