Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Signature Flight Support (Kansas City, MO) in January 2011.

Interview

I was given a phone call. I talked to this guy from Florida who does the hiring from the desk. He sends you tests to take that have no point other than to make you feel like every ounce of common sense you have in your body is completely useless because you can't correctly answer the POS questions they put on the entry exam, WHICH, has absolutely no correlation to the actual duties of the job you are applying to. I'm sure half of the legitimately skilled and talented people that apply for this job are weeded out through this ridiculous corporate on boarding process. Once the tests are complete, you might receive a phone call that will ask you to do a face to face interrogation, sorry, I mean "interview". You are never able to work enough hours. Even if you apply part time, you'll get stuck with 48 a week not including mandatory overtime. The background checks and drug tests mean nothing when it comes to their judgement of your character, your record and urine could be clean, but they'll treat you like an under-the-bridge illicit drug salesman that just finished a 25 year sentence for kiddie porn. I offer sincere apologies to anyone knee deep in the interview process. Trust me, Obama will pay you more to sit at home and nurse your ten kids.

Interview Questions

  • Have you ever been in a situation where you were forced to break the rules?   1 Answer

Negotiation

Straight up I asked to match my previous wage (13.25/hr) and they kicked me down to 11 from their first offer of 12 because they said it would "teach [me] not to be so greedy"

    Interview

I applied online with 5+ years of experience and got a call within 48 hours for an in person interview. Very brief interview as this position is entry level and I personally have a pretty decent aviation oriented resume. Went into a back office for a maximum of 20 minutes for a brief 1 on 1 interview and then took a tour of the facility. Upon returning, we went over the benefits package.

    Interview

I walked in the building and was seated by the customer service representative. The general manager brought myself in and began decribing the job. He asked why I applied and how I heard about the job. Then went into how I felt I would be a good member of the team.

    Interview

Interview was very easy, standard questions. Mine was only a one interview but I had two managers there. My advice is to bring multiple resumes to hand out, luckily I had because I was under the impression that it would only be with one person.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Signature Flight Support (Santa Ana, CA) in February 2016.

Pretty straight forward, they ask you about experience in ramp operations including landing aircraft, towing, fuel distribution and testing, safety checks, etc...
Prior to this they do a mass hiring event and then a group interview, they ask who is interested in valet positions and line tech then go and talk to separate managers in charge of valet and line tech operations. They ask to come in business casual, easy to find location.

    • Do you have any experience in ramp operations, did you report any safety violations on previous jobs,   1 Answer
    • what do you do in case of an u expected emergency and how would you deal with it?   1 Answer

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Signature Flight Support (Santa Ana, CA) in September 2012.

    Interview

Super Easy. It was nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to job interviews. Look professional, a suit is too much, but button up and slacks is good. Be happy, be yourself. Should be no problem.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Signature Flight Support (Santa Ana, CA) in October 2012.

    Interview

Applied online. Got an email from someone in Florida. You have to take a online questionnaire basically. It was really confusing and I don't really understand why they even have it. Answer the questions honestly and the same every time. I think they are looking for consistency throughout the questions. You pass that, in a couple days they will give you a call to do an in-person interview. It was really easy.
