    I had a fantastic experience from the first call with my recruiter, Michelle, to the last interview. Everyone was very transparent throughout the process, it went quickly, and I felt very at home. It was an easy decision for me to come onboard!

    I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Sleep Number by Select Comfort in January 2017.

    Interview

    First interview was with human resources. Second interview was with the regional manager. One short face-time interview. Third interview was with the district manager. Interview consisted of the standard questions regarding qualifications and experience. Overall a very good experience which included a store visit and review of the sales process.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Sleep Number by Select Comfort in September 2016.

    Interview

    Applied on Indeed, after application process was contacted by a recruiter about a week after, asked basic questions and go over the position you apply for and ask if you want to proceed. Then go to step 2, which is interview with the store manager, standard questions why I'd be a good fit and work history, then step 3 interviewed with the General area manager and asked how you handle situations and make sure you have an attitude they are looking for. Then shortly received email for job offer.

    A recruiter called me and interviewed me over the phone. Had a personal interview with Sales manager and another interview with district manager. It was nice and relaxed. I did applied online and submitted my resume and answered the typical questions about personality. Like what would you do in different situations. Answer as honest as possible.

    • How competitive are you. Where do you see yourself in the future. How passionate are you about selling a product and how eager are you to reach your sales goal.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

    There was no room to negotiate. Set pay plan. If you reach your sales goal every month for straight 1 year or if you make at least a average of 100 % you will receive your promotion. Sleep associate, after 6 month sleep professional and after completing 12 month sleep expert. You receive a pay increase and a free sleep number bed. However the pal plan has been changed. More hourly pay and less comission.

    Phone interview with local HR. Local was unfriendly and bordering rude. Questions were general and abrupt. No followup. Felt rushed and incomplete.
