I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Spencer Stuart in Nov 2017
Interview
I had one phone interview and one Skype interview. The process took forever; after my initial phone interview, I was told I would hear back about a second interview in a week, and two weeks later, I had to email them. After my second interview I was told I'd hear back in a week and a half; three weeks later I had to follow up with them. They emailed me twice about still deciding, until finally saying they'd gone with someone else.
The interviews themselves were easy; I was basically asked resume and behavioral questions. Not sure why I didn't get the position because they seemed very enthusiastic, but I also feel like I wasn't given the opportunity to demonstrate any analytical skills.

Question 1
What other types of internships are you applying for?
I interviewed at Spencer Stuart (Frankfurt am Main)
Interview
Personal fit is everything at Spencer Stuart. I did around 7 interview rounds before getting an offer. They really try tower how you would fit into their culture. They select out people who present inauthentic. You meet multiple people from associate to partner.
Fairly straightforward. First round behavioral. Second round case study take-home that you then present and get feedback on. The third round is longer behavioral. Know why you want to be in this space and have lots of potential stories prepared for the third round behaviroal to showcase your skills.
The interview process was a great experience...thorough, engaging, and insightful. I appreciated the thoughtful questions, the opportunity to share my background, and learning more about the team and role. I did not get the role but they gave me valuable feedback.
