Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Spotahome (London, England (UK)) in April 2019.
Interview
Slow, Slow veeeery slow, with lag in communication. 5 Interviews, on the 3rd one they told me they dont want me and then they call me a week later to tell me that they like me now... I guess people who were before me declined the offer... I understand why now... they are the worst.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spotahome (London, England (UK)) in April 2019.
Interview
Call with recruiter, call with hiring manager, then a test (3h - I took a bit longer), then a review with an engineer of the test, then a final, all remote except the last one.
It was super interesting to learn about Spotahome, they seem to be growing at a healthy rate. All the interviewers made time for me to ask questions.
The recruiter was fast and efficient and got back within a day.
The only negative thing was that I couldn't really get an answer of what position I was interviewing for. They are building the team in London so they can't really tell you which part of the product you will be working on. They all seem interesting so I wanted to go ahead anyway. I will try again in 6 months or so.

Interview
HR organization was a disaster. It took around 1 month, they forgot to follow my candidature several times. I had to repeat everything all times because every time there was someone new who doesn't know nothing about me.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Spotahome (London, England (UK)) in July 2019.
Interview
Done through an in house talent agency, the process was friendly but very and hoc. Overall it took 8 weeks, I was told conflicting information several times about the process and ended up having 8 hours of interviews with zero feedback in-between. I was made to think that the role was mine when the hiring manager asked for references at the end of the final interview, only to be called a week later telling me I had not got the job, stating reasons which I found ultimately very confusing.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Spotahome (London, England (UK)) in June 2019.
Interview
Initially the entire process was very fair, interesting, and straight forward. I was involved in a few other processes so they sped me along as quickly as they could. Throughout the entire process I received nothing but amazingly positive feedback and insights.
Following my onsite interview, I disclosed to the headhunter that I was pregnant and would need time off if I started with the company...and they supposedly disclosed this to the CEO and leadership team. Keep in mind- legally - I did not have to disclose anything to them regarding my pregnancy but did so given how interested I was in the role and me wanting to be transparent. They came back once more said they needed references but would be most likely making a compelling offer as all of the feedback was still extremely positive. After 5 days of complete radio silence and not bothering to contact my references, I finally heard back from the CEO that they decided to go with another candidate due to seniority.
This was unfortunate because I was never given any feedback to indicate seniority was an issue, I have more experience than some of the folks on their current C level, and it was only AFTER I disclosed I was pregnant that they went a different direction. This also felt like it was more to do with my pregnancy considering that seniority at my level is something that can be flushed out from a resume scan or during the 3 initial google hangouts I had with the other C level team members- not after an onsite with all positive feedback, and reference request. A company may decide to hire whomever they want at any time, but it does make me question if I did the right thing by disclosing my pregnancy and opening myself up to discrimination.
Honestly, given the outcome- it was most likely best case scenario that it didn't work out; I would never want to work for a company that promotes or partakes in discriminatory activities. And I encourage any other pregnant candidates to proceed with extreme caution.
Contacted by headhunter for CHRO role.
1. Spoke with Headhunter
2. Google hangouts with CEO, COO, CPO
3. Onsite interview meetings with entire C level team, interim leads, and 2 hour discussion/panel presentation

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Spotahome (London, England (UK)) in June 2019.
Interview
I was contacted directly by a third party recruiter instructed by Spotahome to source a Trust & Safety ‘Manager’, and said that they had identified my profile as a good fit.
After the third or forth conversation, it appeared that they were looking for an analyst but wanted to set the role as manager. I decided to stop further conversations as I was only interested in dedicated management opportunities.
Gave feedback to the recruiter as I felt they were targeting experienced managers, who may have not served as analysts in recent times.
Clearly the advice was ignored as I saw the job up for months after.
Quite comical, as was reached out by another recruiter about six weeks after I had finished conversations with the other talent partner, as they had ‘identified me as a suitable candidate’.
