Retail Consultant Interview

Anonymous Employee in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Easy Interview

Application

I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sprint (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in August 2016.

Interview

I traveled over sixty miles to get to the interview. It was help by the District Manager and the Store Manager. I must have waited maybe 20 minutes until I was seen. The entire interview maybe lasted twenty minutes. I pretty much interviewed the company. I wanted to make sure Sprint was the company I wanted to work for. Nothing but empty promises were given.

    Interview

The process took 6 weeks. I applied on Aug 17th, received a call for an interview on September 16th. Had the interview on Friday the 18th with the Assistant Manager and after 30 minutes or so the Store Manager came inand was offered the position on Monday the 21st. After the background check and drug screening today October 1st is my first day. The only strange thing is that I interviewed and will be training at a different store than I will be working at.

    • They asked basic interview questions and asked me to sell a product to them. The interview was more conversational and they wanted to see if I was able to sell things.
