TGG Accounting Interview Questions

Quick follow-up to original application to schedule 1st interview. Got on the zoom early and stayed on for 15 or so minutes waiting before emailing the interviewer to see if we were still meeting. He said he stayed on 5 minutes but I never showed. Not sure what happened, but will just assume technical difficulties on either end. He did get another zoom scheduled and we met and I thought was a good interview. Very friendly and he said he would send more information via email and get my availability for a second interview. I never received an email and followed up the next week with no reply. I actually got an email from the individual I interviewed with to an old email address letting me know of the open position with links to the job application and info on the company. I replied to let him know that I had actually already applied and hadn't heard back; I asked if I had been removed from consideration but never received an answer. The job is currently still posted on job boards, so I am unsure if I was considered further (which a response to my emails either way would have been nice), or if I just got lost in the shuffle.

Online interview. Lasted 30 minutes. Informal and more of a get to know you. Typical for this position, the job is relatively straightforward it’s more important to establish if you both are a good fit for one another.

The interview process was a “speed-interview” style where each staff member had 5 minutes to speak with an interviewee. Once the time was up, the staff would move down to the interviewee sitting at the next table.

Short phone interview with HR person. Then a 3+ hour in-person interview that allowed me to meet 5 different positions within the company on a one-on-one basis. Very positive staff and allowed me to get feel for the environment and culture.

The first step was an in-office interview. The interviewer was very friendly, and I got to chat with a staff who was kind as well. After the interview, they will send you a link to do two assessments.

They recruit on campus and off campus. Get to know the hiring people and get along with them. Everyone is pretty friendly. Act confident and not nervous.
