Interview
I applied online and was contacted a a few days later to set up an interview. At my interview I first met with the manager or ETL of softlines. She asked me behavioral questions with the answering needing to be in the format of situation, behaviors, and outcomes. She took notes on all of my answers on the booklet she had. (After working at Target for awhile I have found out that they score your answers on the scope, complexity, and effort of the answer you gave)
After the interview with her I waited in the same office and the manager of Assets Protection came in and asked me some different (but mostly the same questions). At the end of the interview he asked if I could sit around for a few minutes and he conferred with the other manager. After only about 5 minutes he came back and offered me the position. I then filled out some more paperwork and did some more online fill out stuff.

You are interviewed one on one and asked questions regarding your work history and what kind of situational responses you have. Specifically, they will ask to name a time you had an issue with an employee and what you did to solve it.

Interview
They utilize 3 interviews. In the first interview they offered me 2 different positions. I told them I wanted to apply for the asset protection position. Brought me back for the second interview. Then the third, which was supposed to be with the market AP manager, but that never happened. When I came in, they told me the full time position I applied for would be part time, 20 hours a week. The pay was also something they said could not be negotiated, it was a flat pay position regardless of the experience I had.
Still going through the hiring process but the interview was with HR-brief, scenario-based questions. Answers/Experiences matter and Personality. I have a second interview today with the head of Asset Control.
