The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Columbus, OH) in Feb 2009
Interview
First, the recruiter contacted me after I applied on their website. Then I had a phone interview with a recruiter for about 30 mins. He later asked if I could meet at a particular store in my area to interview with 2 managers. The interview consisted of personality/behavior based questions where I had to give specific examples of how I dealt with the issues and how I showed my outstanding abilities to overcome the challenges. Finally I had to do an online assessment and background check upon being hired.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target in May 2016
Interview
The first step is with a recruiter which went well. She even told me that the next steps would just be a formality because I was a lock for the position. After that there was a ridiculous assessment and grueling interview with brutal questions.
