Pretty conversational and ask about experience. Then you have your case study and your lesson. I think they do a good job with their interviews. I enjoyed mine. You definitely need to be prepared. Other questions are the typical behavioral ones.
- Tell me about a time you solved a problem when working with a team

Hour and a half long interview. First you give your 5 min practice lesson, then they ask you some questions about it. Then, you give your proposal about the case study and they ask follow up questions as well. After that, it's about 45min - 1 hour of traditional interview questions. They are very thorough and ask you about your experiences and give you scenarios to think through how you would act in different situations. The interviewer I had was very friendly and genuine as I did my interview and it was definitely a positive and welcoming experience.
- Tell me about a time when you set a goal for yourself and what process did you take to achieve that goal. Tell me how someone other than you would describe you as they viewed you during that process.

The recruiter called me at the scheduled time and asked me a few basic questions, including "tell me a little bit about yourself," "what motivated you to choose your major," and "what is your long term career goal." Then, the recruiter gave me a general introduction to Teach for America and how Corps members will be trained and prepared for the next two years they will be spending with students from disadvantaged school districts. I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Teach for America (Houston, TX) in Mar 2022
The whole interview process was very smooth. Everyone was very kind. I do recommend applying within the first deadlines rather than the last. There is a lot of stuff to do to prepare for the school year so the sooner the better.
- I can't remember any specifics. I would make sure to be confident as to why I choose to apply to TFA.

TFA was helpful in interview prep and provided a lot of useful resources. Interview itself wasn’t too demanding and I had enough time to prepare. They gave me an answer regarding a job offer very quickly too.
