Server/Hostess Interview

Easy Interview

Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Lansing, MI) in July 2015.

Interview

Laid-back. I went in with my resume, asked for a job and they scheduled me for an interview. The supervisor who interviewed asked me to come in for a second interview, and remembered my name the second time. It was more like a conversation than an interview, and I felt like a person, not like a number. I was scheduled to work right away, which was very convenient for me.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse.

    Interview

Applied online and received a call the same day. Initially applied for server but I guess in this industry you have to start out as a hostess. Interview was quick and very easy, managers were fun and friendly. I think this is what made the interview soooo easy. Came in for 2nd interview 2 days later and got hired on spot.
