I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Flagstaff, AZ) in January 2013.

    Interview

I went in and talked with the Assistant Store Manager after applying online. I had a short interview on the spot and then was called back to meet with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager and Pro Account Sales Manager. From there I was offered the position with a low pay offering.... I needed a job badly at the time and tried to get them to go up and they wouldn't so I took it. Had to pass a background check and drug screening afterwards and then went to work.

    Negotiation

I tried to negotiate the pay offer up and they wouldn't budge. The Home Depot is very tight on pay and hours.

I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Orlando, FL) in February 2017.

    Interview

I applied online and within a few days they emailed me saying that they will call me for a short phone interview- which they did. It was pretty basic- it just asked to press one for yes and two for no. After that, they scheduled me for an interview for a few days later. The interview itself was pretty nice. I sat down with a manager and they asked me some questions. In the end, I didn't get the position but they offered me one for cashier. After I accepted, they made me take a quick drug test. They told me to come back for 2 hours of paper work and then later on, 4 hours of training. All paid.
