Working for the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Assistance as acting Sacramento County Eligibility Worker for the C Street Clinic at 1500 C Street, enabled me to obtain experience working with the following health care service programs in Family Assistance, Emergency Services, Adult and Children Services, California Medical Services (CMSP), Family Assistance, Mental Health, and the Sacramento Shelter and Homeless Population within the City and County of Sacramento.

Responsibilities entailed performing interactive interviews to elicit eligibility information and identify need for public assistance programs and services, analyze financial and eligibility information to determine initial or continuing eligibility for multiple aid programs, and explained regulations, rules, and policies to clients/customers and apprised them of their rights, responsibilities, and eligibility for participation, to ensure accuracy and completion of application and declaration forms.
