    QA Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Bengaluru (India)
    Accepted Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (Bengaluru (India)) in January 2013.

    Interview

There are no standard process for selection in the company, now I can say that because, I interviewed quiet a lot during my stay here. The managers are least bothered about the kind of questions that are asked and the entire process is dependent more on who interviews you. The only direction that is given is that the candidate should know selenium (Which I do not know why, because there is monopoly in the little automation task that is present with certain people) and proficiency in Linux (Which is the only thing that is really required to work in this company)

    Interview Questions

    • Refer to what I added as my comments in Hiring and Interview Process, You cannot predict questions. But currently, in QA, there is no one who knows JAVA that well which can be beneficial, in case you act all confident, or disadvantageous, in case you are not confident in your answers. The key is, please be confident in your answers and NEVER say no to anything that is asked, even if you are bluffing it   Answer Question

    Negotiation

There offer money is generally really good. But that is the trap they lay for you, they pay you so much that you cannot go anywhere else and then get treated really badly
