Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Chicago, IL).

Interview

The phone interview was very easy. There is an in-office assessment on the computer which is easy. The in person interview we went through my resume A THIRD TIME. Then she asked me the same questions we went over on the phone. Thought that was weird and made it seem like they weren't interested.

    Interview

Phone call to qualify and gauge interest, then another phone call to ask more advanced questions. In person interview for initial contact, and if you want to be at a different location you have to go to that location to meet with the GSM or have a video conference. But they would prefer you to travel out of your own pocket to meet with your potential employer.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Raleigh, NC) in July 2015.

    Interview

Two phone interviews with a national recruiter. One skype interview with recruiter. In-person interview with branch manager. Had to complete a basic us states knowledge test. Also had a homework assignment where I had to locate shippers and carriers, even though I wasn't asked about it in the in person interview. Overall good experience, I declined for a better offer.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Cincinnati, OH) in July 2015.

    Interview

2 phone interviews, one on-site, starts off easy, but they grill you pretty hard on the last one. first interview, they just describe the job. second interview, they ask a few more questions. Pretty basic stuff, mostly behavioral since the job doesn't require experience. They really try to intimidate you during the last interview.

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Cincinnati, OH) in March 2015.

    Interview

Long phone interview plus two hour long interviews including taking a test on the states. They call you and conduct an interview. Then you go online and fill out a bunch of background information. Then you go on a face to face interview with a company recruiter. They basically pass along almost everyone because they get bonuses for getting people hired. Then you interview with the GSM and some people who are qualified to wipe their own butts. Then they call you almost immediately to offer you a job. Then a drug test. Then you start. They pretty much hire 10 people and lose 10 people every month at my location.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics.

    Interview

The interview process consisted of an initial phone screening, followed by a video conference with the recruiter. It was a little different for me because I was applying from a distance. After the video conference, I was subsequently asked to come into the office for a job shadow and sit down interview with the hiring manager. I was then offered the job within the same week as the interview.

    Interview Questions

    • Most of the questions were making sure I was fit and willing to put in the hours and time requirements it takes to be successful at TQL. There are no smoke and mirrors here, they are very upfront in telling you that it takes a lot of time and effort to build your book of business and make sure you understand that this isn't a normal 9-5 job. It was clear that they are trying to weed out anyone that isn't willing to put in all that it takes to be successful at this incredibly demanding job since they allocate a lot of time and resources to trainees in their first year.   Answer Question

    Interview

Really relaxed process. Phone screen, brought out to their office location, aptitude and geography test.I really found that if you display a competitive team oriented personality, they got really excited. The office is very casual and its one of those jobs that has high turnover but a lot of room to make a lot of money. Opportunity is what you put into the job
