I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Davenport, IA) in Oct 2012
Interview
Interview took about 1 hour and a half. They asked your name then describe yourself the first initial of your first name. Then they asked you to go pick a toy from the sales floor and sell it to them first you had to say "what can I help you find today?" Then you had to make something with Legos and tell them how you contribute to the group. Finally they took you to their office for a one on one interview. They ask you if you have any questions and do you have any experience.

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Cincinnati, OH) in Oct 2017
Interview
I went in for the interview and was hired before she even did a back round check. I called the day before and got an interview right away. There was no security because literally a duck or a wolf could get hired. She asked like 2 questions that had nothing to do with me, then i was offered the job right away.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (North Attleboro, MA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I arrived on time and was left standing for about 20 minutes waiting for a manager. When she was ready for me she apologized for the wait and had me sit down with her and someone from HR. My interview should have been a group interview but instead was only me. The interview consisted mainly of them explaining what a day at work is like there, they acted as if i already had the job. I did not need to sell them a toy and there were no team building activities like many others have described. The interview only lasted about 15 minutes.
