    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Rego Park, NY) in November 2017.

    Interview

First, you go through the website of Toys R Us and go through the process online. Then, you get a email saying thank you for registering for Toys R Us and that your application is going to get looked over. Next, you can get an email saying they are considering you to be part of Toys R Us. Also, Most likely you will get a call from HR picking a time of day for you and asking if you can go that day. If you are a teenager you have to go through tax credit screening to prove your age. Finally, you go to interview 10 minutes early and go to costumer service to ask were interviews are and the store manager and HR comes to talk about the company in front of the applicants and ask if we have any questions. which when that is over individual interviewing starts. NUMBER ONE THING IS TO NOT BE TO SERIOUS AND LAID BACK AND NOT TALK TO MUCH OR TRY TO NOT BE TO NERVOUS CAUSE THE STORE MANAGER WILL POINT IT OUT.

Not much of an interview because they just need people to come in. Was asked about my employment gap, said I've been a stay at home mom. They seemed pleased to know that I used to be in the military. I was hired on the spot and scheduled for orientation two days later.

    Overnight Stocker Interview

    No Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us.

    Interview

I filled out a application maybe a month prior to receiving a email inviting me to a open interview. Basically I printed out my resumé (which you should always bring to a job interview) and had a very brief interview that lasted roughly 20mins. She was very nice and just ask me common interview questions. During the interview she sent off my background check and told me that i’ll have to wait to it comes back. I don’t know if that means I’m hired or not 🤷🏽‍♀️
