I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Trader Joe's (New York, NY) in June 2012.
1:1 interview was great the manager was nice to me I was little nervous after a moment
Thing goes parfait she asked me few question and I. Answer it and she was telling me about company's rules and policy and benefits salary
Yes I. did negotiate and she hired me
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trader Joe's (Washington, DC) in September 2017.
First and second interview
Same questions asked
This company claims to not discriminate and be good to their employees. However I experienced the opposite.
I applied for a job here. I have customer service experience, open availability, passed all the questions. Clean record, good referrals. Had a great interview both times. Which leads me to believe that the only reason I was not hired at this specific location was because I wouldn’t fit in with everyone else who was there applying who was a different race. I believe they did this to avoid conflict however it’s unethical and illegal.
