      General Manager Interview

      May 24, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Nashville, TN
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Trane Technologies (Nashville, TN) in Apr 2011

      Interview

The process starts with a resume screening from the Human Resources department. Then it is followed up with a phone interview that is conduct by the HR group. The phone interview is a second screening process that allows the interviewer to explain details of the the job requirements and expectations as well as exploring the individual's background for relative experience and possiblity of placement. The candidate will then be scheduled to meet the local hiring HR rep (if available) as well as the manager in which, the candidate will be directly reporting. The process seems very laid back and more like and introduction or meet and greet than a stuffy interview. If the candidate makes the short list they will be called back for one last office visit and then offers will be extended.
