Easy Interview

Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling (Houston, TX) in August 2012.

Interview

The interview process included the hiring manager and several of the engineers (former military officers) who had already joined the 18 month training program. Over a dinner and casual interview, the group then decided to move forward with or decline the candidate. If moved forward, the candidate was brought into the office to meet and interview with several of the Senior Operations Managers.

Interview Questions

  • Core strengths, background and military training, expectations of the training program and responsibilities following the completion of the program.   Answer Question

Negotiation

This was an established training program with a set entry level salary. There was no negotiation.
