    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at UBS (Century City, CA) in April 2016.

    Interview

It consisted of first a phone interview, which were all simple questions. They asked why I wanted to join the firm, what I wanted to do after I graduated, etc. After I passed the phone interview, I was brought into the office and interviewed by a panel of associates. They more or less just asked questions about my resume. Nothing was particularly mentally tolling or difficult. They were nice and pleasant people.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at UBS in December 2015.

    Interview

I was asked to speak on the phone with HR. Typical behavioral questions were asked. That same day I received two emails about speaking to young employees with their managers back to back. I was unsure how the conversations would go but they pretty much asked the same questions as before. It was a fair process but wish I got the chance to interview in person.

    1. You work as a grunt for 3 years before you can become an advisor. This depends on whether there is even an opening or not.

    2. The advisors will take all your close family and friends to add to their network and increase clients for themselves.

    3. If you don't pass the Series 66 & 7 and then YOU'RE OUT !
