Interview

It was a very easy interview. They reviewed the resume and expanded on that. I have not been as relaxed in any other interview. They asked basic questions on what you could contribute to the company.I would apply with them again if I did not get the job because I would just have to figure out what was missing. I am waiting now

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at UPS Freight (Mather Field, CA).

    Interview

I applied for a position with UPS during late October. I wasn't told until I arrived that the position was considered seasonal and the job will last until Dec 24th. There were about fifteen other people waiting and the HR rep said that she might not need all of us. This position was outside loading and unloading UPS airplanes. I wasn't expecting to see porta potties. The porta potties were right in the walk way, there was no privacy. Every time you walk by you get a whiff. I had an eye infection shortly after. The HR rep pulled us one by one and basically asked us to verify our information and if I would submit to a background check. After leaving a week or so later I received proof of a background check that I passed but no job offer. From what I can see, I might get called in December when there are more boxes than they can handle. However, I will decline because the position requires that you work out in cold weather and the rain for up to six hours and I wanted to work longer than a month. I passed up interviews waiting on UPS. I will continue looking.
