    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at UPS (Los Angeles, CA) in August 2016.

    Interview

Very short and very scattered as far the questioned asked. Didn't go over my resume or talked in detail about my work experience. They talked a lot about the hours and shift and how difficult and challenging it's been to retail staff for the 2nd and 3rd shift specially in management.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Los Angeles, CA) in January 2016.

    Interview

I applied online and scheduled an orientation interview the next day. It was me and four other people that applied for the position sitting in a room while the interviewer explained the position. He told us the job was hard and demanded a lot more work for what they pay you. $10.10 an hour for 3^1/2 - 5 hours for 5 days a week, $25 deducted a week in union fees for 8 weeks, no brakes or days off, and you have to make it a year before quitting or they ban you from the company. He stressed that this was only a job for students looking for benefits because they help pay for school and was not worth it other wise. The interviewer then talks to you 1 on 1 to see how they can work around your school schedule if you want the job.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2015.

    Interview

I had an excellent interview experience with UPS. They are very professional, and very detailed with their hiring process. Having said that, they need to step up their HR department. I had a great recruiter in the beginning, and after the job offer, the HR department basically lagged and made me realize I'm just a number in their company, not a person. What kept me interested in the job was the benefits. If you think it's worth it to move to Phoenix for a cold calling job, then more power to ya! I suggest be very vocal of your concerns, and email blast your contact as much until you feel comfortable making such a big change. The timeline from the first phone screen to hiring date is roughly 1 month. What I suggest to the company: relocation package...

    Sales Representative Interview

    Interview

I found UPS recruiters at a college career expo. After a brief chat, I was sent an email about a week later. From there, we set up a phone call to schedule an interview at their Los Angeles location.

Interview was straightforward - google common questions and they basically followed the same format. Some small talk at the beginning. Then the questioning began with the other Sales Associates and their supervisor.

I got a call back approximately three weeks later that I received the internship.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Los Angeles, CA) in September 2013.

    Interview

Within a month after applying online, I was finally invited to tour the facility that I had applied for. The interviewer took us (a group of about 12 applicants) through the facility. The work environment was pretty noisy, yet very productive. Our group was eventually led to a conference room where we were given a more in-depth look (via PowerPoint presentation) on all aspects of the job. The information we received was more detailed than the job description posted on the UPS career website. I learned that this wasn't the job for me - at least not for the moment. But overall, a good experience in learning more about the company.
