    Interview Questions

    • Started with personal questions like where you from originally.. and asked about my green card status.. He was making jokes at first but then he asked if I got married with an American...
He literally told me he got married years ago and said "You gotta do what you gotta do!!".. As if this was something everybody do to survive here!!!.. Weird.. Absurd.. I looked at him confused and he switched it over to another subject..

He said UPS is an aggressive company and it's very strict about the rules.. because the company wants everything to be perfect just like Trump!! That was another thing that made me silent again...
Very inappropriate, disrespectful and sad..   1 Answer

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Los Angeles, CA) in January 2016.

    Interview

I applied online and scheduled an orientation interview the next day. It was me and four other people that applied for the position sitting in a room while the interviewer explained the position. He told us the job was hard and demanded a lot more work for what they pay you. $10.10 an hour for 3^1/2 - 5 hours for 5 days a week, $25 deducted a week in union fees for 8 weeks, no brakes or days off, and you have to make it a year before quitting or they ban you from the company. He stressed that this was only a job for students looking for benefits because they help pay for school and was not worth it other wise. The interviewer then talks to you 1 on 1 to see how they can work around your school schedule if you want the job.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2015.

    Interview

I had an excellent interview experience with UPS. They are very professional, and very detailed with their hiring process. Having said that, they need to step up their HR department. I had a great recruiter in the beginning, and after the job offer, the HR department basically lagged and made me realize I'm just a number in their company, not a person. What kept me interested in the job was the benefits. If you think it's worth it to move to Phoenix for a cold calling job, then more power to ya! I suggest be very vocal of your concerns, and email blast your contact as much until you feel comfortable making such a big change. The timeline from the first phone screen to hiring date is roughly 1 month. What I suggest to the company: relocation package...
