I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at US Army (Miami, FL) in February 2011.

    Interview

Do not take the first thing the recruiter says he has available for you. Tell them specifics you are looking for and only for them. it may take a while to get what you want. But trust me it is worth it in the end. Do not let them lie to you and tell you well come in and try this job and if you don't like it then you can change it later. Later is at the end of your first contract and you only get 1 time to change your job.
