Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at US Department of Veterans Affairs (Los Angeles, CA).

Interview

Process can be long 2-6 months is typical. After applying for the position I was called in for an interview about 6 weeks after the posting closed. A few weeks after interview I went in for fingerprinting and background questionaires, then there was a very long wait until I heard anything from anyone. Eventually HR reached out to me but HR is a huge problem do not hesitate to stay on top of them. It would be a good idea to stay in contact with you specific department once you are hired many times they will have more luck dealing with HR than you will and they want you to start just as bad as you do.
