I attended the interview process for a Systems Analyst role which included a technical assessment on-site. The overall interview experience itself was professional, and the technical test was clear.
However, I felt the communication during the post-interview stage could be improved. After completing the assessment, there was a long waiting period of nearly three weeks without any update. I followed up with the HR, but did not receive a direct response regarding the status.
Eventually, the rejection was received through the candidate portal rather than via a direct communication, which felt a bit impersonal given the effort invested in the process.
I understand recruitment can take time, but more timely updates and clearer communication would improve the overall candidate experience.

Question 1
They asked me to complete a technical assessment that involved basic programming logic, including problem-solving questions
Had a touchpoint screen with HR, then an in-depth technical interview with a panel of engineers. Not much feedback was given during the interview about performance. Overall, the process was pretty standard for this type of role.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Unisys (Bengaluru) in Mar 2026
Interview
I recently attended the interview process at Unisys for a internship role through campus placement.
The process started with an online assessment that included aptitude, logical reasoning, and basic programming questions. Candidates who cleared the test were invited for the interview round.
During the interview, the panel mainly asked basic technical questions related to Python, programming fundamentals, and problem-solving. The interviewers were polite and the overall atmosphere was comfortable. They focused on understanding my basic coding knowledge and logical thinking rather than asking very difficult questions.
Overall, the interview experience was smooth and well-organized. It was a good opportunity for freshers to demonstrate their technical basics and communication skills.
Interview difficulty: Easy to Moderate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the main things the interviewer asked me about was my project. They asked me to explain the project I mentioned on my resume, including the problem it solves, the technologies I used, and my specific role in building it. They also asked a few follow-up questions about how the system works and what challenges I faced during development.
