      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines in Feb 2012

      Interview

I initially applied online, heard back within a couple weeks, and set up an introductory phone interview. They asked pretty normal questions, like "tell me about yourself," "tell me about your related experience," etc. After that interview, I made it to second round phone interviews, which was difficult. I was asked multiple, complex, difficult questions, relating to various specific functions in Excel, different programs they use to help plan the routes that you'd never hear of outside the airline, etc. They tried to throw ya for a loop, that's for sure!

      Question 1

The most unexpected question I was asked was details about my previous work with an airline on a project that I'd signed a Disclosure Agreement for... but he kept pressing for more information. It was annoying and unprofessional.
