Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about your resume
What do you know about United Way?
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at United Way (Houma, LA) in Jun 2015
Interview
The interview process was relaxed yet extremely informative. The employer was very upfront of the task and duties of the position and the pay. The interview lasted for about 20-30min. It consisted of the employer describing the company as a whole and then the position in which I was being interviewed for. They then asked the basic interview questions that one might hear in most interviews and then I was given a chance to ask any questions I may have had about the job/company.

Question 1
If I was comfortable with public speaking? (The job position consist of going out to businesses in the community, both big and small, and informing them about United Way and one can give through United Way.)
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at United Way (Athens, GA) in Apr 2018
Interview
Very brief. Very conversational. Asked a lot about my resume and past experiences. There were two ladies who were very nice and wanted to actually learn more about what I had to offer as oppose to aimlessly quizzing me.
I applied online. I interviewed at United Way (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2017
Interview
I applied, they got back to me quickly to set a time for an interview. They kept me informed throughout the process. Wonderfully easy. Then they said they would be in touch, probably by the end of the week. This was Tuesday morning. Nothing, nothing, nothing. I emailed, which generated a "we'll be in touch" reply. I sent along an relevant article and an announcement for a local workshop, which generated "thanks for this" responses. Finally, 3 1/2 weeks later, they responded to my "I'm still interested" email with the notice that they had filled the position.
