Interview

Not really interview based position. The job comes with admission package in most cases. Though there are positions which you might be interviewed by the instructor and/or the lab co-ordinator of the course you are going to teach. Not a difficult one.

University of Maryland Global Campus

Hi everyone, I am currently a third year finance student at university of maryland global campus. I work full time and go to school full time. I have four years of customer service and i am an assistant manager at a small hotel. I applied to multiple internships but dint got any offer. I also have a 3.5 gpa right now and I’m just not sure as to why I don’t even get an interview… is it because my school is not very know or does it make a huge impact?

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at University of Maryland (College Park, MD) in Aug 2012

Interview

There was not so much an interview as there was a review of your previous transcripts and experiences. They simply went through to verify what you indicated and check to see if you're experiences are actually useful. The interview also serves as an introduction to the professor you will be working with. They may establish rules and expectations, but they may also want your input. Do not think of it as an interview so much as an introduction to the professor and the school.
