Applied online a few days before the application closed. Got a call a day or two after the last day to apply. They gave me a brief run down of what the job entailed, the pay, and we went over my qualifications. They asked if I was still interested in applying and scheduled an interview.

At the interview: Typical interview. Tell me about yourself. How does your previous experience relate to this position. Are you familiar with xxx software.

    1-on-1 initial interview with recruiter, after which 3 final candidates are called back for a 3-person panel interview (w/ hiring mgr, prospective supervisor and colleague) was next. 2 finalists are called back for a 3rd 3-person panel interview (w/ director and 2 unrelated dept mgrs).
