    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) in September 2015.

    Interview

Whole thing took a little over a month. It was about one month after I submitted my application when I got a phone call to schedule a phone screen, (this was on a Thursday). Phone screen the following Monday and was told they would let me know by Friday. When she said this, I assumed they would let me know by Friday if she wanted me to come in for the second interview. However, I get a call on Wednesday to come in Thursday for the in-person interview. In person interview was essentially with the staff I would have been working with. They were all super friendly, but the executive director for that department was a little off-putting. Out of the corner of my eye, I could have sworn I saw her like rolling her head to the side out of boredom. A lot of the questions they asked me seemed like they came up with them right then and there after they had the chance to look over my resume and ask me to tell them about me. I'm super disappointed that I didn't get the position, (my fault, I should have sold myself better,) but this was a good interview experience i hope to interview with other departments that I applied with.

    Interview

What are some Talents you can bring on Board? We started with that question, but the reality is that I think they were looking for workers not slackers. They went through some non-descriptor questions about my major in University as well as the foreseen conflict between academic and work.

Please be neat and courteous. They are a bit slow, but they really will just about hire anybody who has federal work study.

Short interview process and seemed desperate for employees. Submitted an online application, was asked to interview a week later. During the interview they had me fill out payroll information and added me to their scheduling website. Pretty much instantly hired.

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) in August 2015.

    Interview

Good process. Asked basic questions on food handling and safety. Had to pass a food handling exam to meet the requirements of the position. The manager was very friendly and the interview was not at all intimidating. Also, black shoes and pants are compulsory for this position. Handling of meat is one of their concerns. If your not ok with handling meat then don't go for it.

    Interview

Received an email on a Friday to schedule an interview for the following Friday. Upon arrival, I had 20 minutes to do a writing sample based on a question that focused on my current job responsibilities. I interviewed with three individuals that work in the department. The interview was very comfortable. They asked a series of questions about my capabilities and past work experiences. A copy of the questions were provided to me to follow along. A couple hours after the interview, they started calling my references. I then received an email that same day requesting information to perform a background check. I was offered the position the following Monday.
