Video interview with 4-5 people, scheduled separately. No difficult questions, more conversations. Slow to onboard-took 6-7 months to start after offer. Apparently this is typical for the organization. Typical drug screen/background check after hiring.

Question 1
I do not recall traditional interview questions. More about my past clinical experiences and roles.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at VCU Health
Interview
I applied for an open position the 1st week of June and finally received an email over 1 month later requesting to interview me. The interview was then set up 2 weeks later. My interview consisted of 6 hours where I was interviewed by 6 different people all in different neurology departments. The 1st interview was with the overseeing physician of the specialty. My thought process is split the interviews over 2 days or if the physician that will oversee me does not care for me, which he definitely did not, then they should tell the lead APP not to continue the interview process. It was a complete waste of my time and day. I knew very shortly in the morning that I was not going to be receiving a job offer but was subjected to the grueling interview process that they have in place. I have 1 more 6 hour interview in me to muster, so if I was offered another interview in a different specialty then I will attend. Interviewer Beware though!
