I was first contacted by a recruiter who was very friendly and attentive. Through her she directed me to the recruiter of product design who called me to have the initial phone screen and to tell me more about the position. He said that I sounded like the right fit and scheduled a phone interview with the visual design manager for a few days later. The phone call with the visual design manager took about 30-45 minutes and consisted of me explaining me career history and skills, and also answering all of his questions. It was a pleasant experience. From that I was contacted again by the recruiter to set up an on site interview and portfolio presentation. This onsite interview took most of the day, from about 9:30-4:00pm. First I had a one hour portfolio presentation where to presented all my work to a room of the product design team. From that we broke off into 1 on 1 sessions with each individual designer who asked me their own questions, and in one instance had a design problem for me to solve. At the end of the day I met with the recruiter who asked me how the day went and told me what to expect next. Within that week we began financial negotiations and finally received my offer through email. Since the number was what we had agreed on through email, I accepted and started 2 weeks later.
