I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors in Aug 2024
Interview
4 Video response questions with about 2 mins of prep and 3 min max of answering. 1 redo for each question is allowed, but that is all. Last question is the longest with 15 min of prep to make a lesson on something you are passionate about and teach it to the camera like you are teaching a class online, 10 min max of answer time for this one.

Question 1
How will you make sure all students are engaging and meeting the required objective for each teaching lesson using online learning?
You are sent a link to an online video interview. They ask you about previous tutoring experience and the last question was asking you to do a mock-tutoring session. It's very awkward because you have to make up what you want to teach on the spot, but you get unlimited time to think of responses.

AI Interview, very easy. Asked very basic question's regarding experience, motivation, etc. I’m a freshman student in UMD and so I haven’t been to many job interviews, but this was genuinely easy.
