    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Verint Systems (Santa Clara, CA).

    Interview

I went through one phone screen, where the recruiter asked simple behavioral questions. This went on for about ten minutes, and then the recruiter asked if I had any questions for him. After all this, the recruiter said that he would keep in touch with me and forward me to another person, and then I never heard back from them again. I followed up with an email a few days later, which was promptly ignored.

    Interview Questions

    • They asked basic behavioral questions, like why I was interested in the position, what my qualifications were, and what my education is.   Answer Question

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Verint Systems (Alpharetta, GA) in October 2016.

    Interview

Well structured interview process, first phone interview is with the internal talent recruiter, the next is with the hiring manager. If you pass both, you are invited for a face-to-face. During the on site I was interviewed by total of six people, the recruiter (very brief), the HR representative, the with your peers, whom I had two in the room with me and two conferenced in over the phone.
The feedback to my face-to-face was positive, so on to final phase. If the on-site is successful, the last step is to be interviewed by the head of the department over the phone (even though that person is at that location). I spoke to the director about a week later, short conversation, nothing conspicuous.
After that the company just disappeared, I didn't get a yes or no, no post-mortem of any sort.

Oracle UPK Developer and TTT R12 Upgrade Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Alpharetta, GA
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verint Systems (Alpharetta, GA).

    Interview

For Oracle 12.5 upgrade. The style of interview is a dialog with the interviewer providing an overview of the project at high level,.Questions about UPK do not ever get asked. For full time positions there are several panel interviews, which are very thorough. You need to ask a lot of questions to reveal the true issues, like there is a non existent training environment. Yet, Verint has a University and training rooms (without any computers).

    Interview Questions

    • What have you enjoyed about your job and the challenges you have encounters? Are you flexible? What type of managers do you like working for? Do you like non confrontational bosses that are hands off and/or someone that checks in with you a lot? Do you work well with other areas providing you with the training process - how to conduct the training and write the UPK topics (that team will eventually own the training from cradle to grave) ?   1 Answer
    • Are you used to being the only one for the functional training from start to finish for a project? (consists of 3 modules)   1 Answer
    • What is a normal day like for you as a trainer? Have you previously worked through out an entire Life cycle process? Can you write an SOW? Can you put together a training strategy in a few days? What type of deadlines are you used to?   1 Answer
    • Can you create testing documents for QA through UPK, prepare and conduct the training for the testers if given a couple of weeks to complete it all?   1 Answer
    • How do you feel about working for a company with little locked down processes even though Oracle 11 has been up and running? But some one is currently working on locking down the company processes, because they are currently being conducted differently for all 3 sections of the company.   1 Answer

    Negotiation

    Project Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Atlanta, GA

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verint Systems (Atlanta, GA) in September 2016.

    Interview

I was treated unprofessionally by Verint's VP and HR rep. My advice is to stay away from Verint. I had five interviews for a project manager position in their professional services practice. I interviewed with the HR rep, three directors, and the VP. After each interview, I was told that I my interview was positive and I would be moving to the next stage. The HR rep and VP both told me that I would be short listed for the sixth and final interview. After a week, I had heard nothing from them, so I reached out first by phone and then by email. They would not respond to my emails or voice mails for more than another week. The HR rep then called me after about 10 days and said that I did not make the short list for the sixth interview. I asked for feedback on what knocked me out of contention, but neither the HR rep nor the VP would respond. Verint has no respect for the candidates or the candidates time.

    Interview Questions

    • During all five of my interviews, they asked about my background, experience, and how I handled certain situations. After each interview, I was told that my interview was positive and I would be moving to the next round. After the fifth interview, I was told by both the HR rep and the VP that I would interview for the sixth and final interview. Then they stopped contact with me and would not provide any feedback on the reason. This is an unprofessional way to treat people and very disrespectful to the candidate.   1 Answer

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Verint Systems (Santa Clara, CA).

    Interview

The interview was simple enough, go through the steps to test something, talk about your resume, etc. etc.
