I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Verizon in Jan 2009
Interview
Not a bad process at all. You meet with the hiring manager and maybe a few peers. Very professional, friendly, nice office space and a faced paced working environment. Must have the proper experience and professional appearance. You also must have a strong Telecom backround and solution based selling skills in order to be considered for a sales position.

Interview
The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

Question 1
How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
