I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Barceloneta, PR) in May 2010
Interview
I was told to go in for an interview. When I arrived, I wrote my name on a list and waited in a room with at least thirty other people. Our names where being called by different managers. My name was called by the Assistant Manager who interviewed me.
There were many desks, divided by cubicles. My interviewer sat behind a desk, and I sat directly in front of him. He asked me about my previous experiences in Retail, Customer Service, amongs others. He also asked me standard questions like: "Tell me about a time when you were asked to do something you didn't want to at a previous job." "Tell me about a time when you exceeded a customer's expectation" and such...
There was a lot of questions but overall it went pretty decent. They were your standard interview questions. I am happy with the outcome but maybe I could do better next time.
Solid and very well informative process. It was straightforward and well put together. I really enjoyed the people that I interacted with and ultimately chose another route due to time constraints.
The interview was brief but straight forward. I interviewed with someone and was done within 15 minutes. They asked a few questions about myself and past job experience. Then I progressed to the next steps in the hiring process. The next steps where orientation.
