Interview

I was approached by a Senior Recruiter through LinkedIn and within 2 days my first initial screen interview with HR took place. Most of the questions were related by work history. During the first interview the HR Manager emphasized how valuable my qualifications were for the positions at hand and persuaded me about the benefits of moving to a small town like Bentonville AR. My first interview was a virtual interview through web-cam with a Director for the department. Director asked me questions related to my work history, work ethics, leadership experiences and projects in general. The Director also did a wonderfull & honest job of explaining the challenges the role offered and assured complete support from top leadership. I was sold by the honesty and simplicity of the leadership! Towards the end of our conversation the Director told me that I will be invited for a face to face interview. The HR spared no time to reach out and helped answer all the questions related to the area, what opportunities await my family and helped understand the benefits & salary package. The way HR treated me through the interview process really made me feel wanted & appreciated.... a key factor that persuaded me to leave a career opportunity with another forture 10 company that I was working for. I was given a scenrio describing a $5M project that I will be leading and I was asked to present in front of directors & senior managers. The interview panel cross questioned during my presentation to fully understand the level of depth of my project plan and were very thorough. My direct reports also interviewed me which was a reassurance that this company truely honors servant leadership. After the Project Presentation that HR negotiated the salary & benefits and I was sent on a 2 hour area tour with a realtor. All in all the on-boarding experience was great.... I felt assured that this company means business & want to hire the right candidate. Although some of the processes that I am working with are really simplistic but there in lies the opportunity. I feel good & content when I mentor employees and they thank me for helping them out.. I strongly recommend this company to other professional who want to be an fun loving work environment!
