Help Desk Analyst Interview Irvine, CA

Was unemployed for almost 2 years (nearly a 99'er) during

the "great recession". It was hard to find quality work (obviously) and I was drilled a bit too much on that I thought. Also, I am already doing the work they interviewed me for, why would they ask me if I "minded" doing it for them? Also, some interviewers repeated questions (and repeated "I don't want to ask you the same questions as the last guy").

Drop the testing, go with experience and ask pertinent questions and you'll find quality employees. No need for all of this pageantry for such a basic position. Also ensure you don't constantly tell candidates that they will be "extremely busy all the time", that screams "we are cheap and don't hire enough staff". Being busy is one thing, but a tacit admission of poor staffing is not attractive to the majority of us who don't enjoy working in a slave labor camp. I wrote this position off before I walked out of the second interview because of it.
