Wattpad Software Engineer Platform/Backend interview questions

1. Recruiter phone call about some basic problems 2. tech round. You will need to explain ur past projects. 3 tech round2. Its common to do takehome assignments, also common to solve algorithm problems using pairing code style. However if you mix them up, ... I feel I was like Harry Potter taking OWLS.exam ？hot summer afternoon, sweat, trying to stay calm and figure out the complex relationship between each component. Not to mention the weird behaviour of Google meeting. Im not sure.its like OOP or challenge the real engineering problem. I was very close to right answer but made a silly mistake which I never made daily. (OMG I canot imagine how I did it)found the issue literally the moment finishing the interview and sent the followup to recruiter but I think it doesn't help much as final decision had been made. Overall Im very satisfied with the interview. Recruiters are professional, interviewers are friendly and asked many valuable questions. However Im not a huge fan of tech round 2. real development is always dirty,tricky,back and forth, but the deliver result is elegant with multiple unnitests. The contradictory is why I donot enjoy it so much. its especially hard in Virtual Interview But surely its an open question. I still encourage everyone to apply for wattpad 🤣🤣
