I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Web.com (Silver Spring, MD) in February 2010.

Interview

Met with the principle, followed by the incumbent (who is retiring), then with the direct reports.

All were pleasant and information but I'm not really sure these guys know what they want.

At the end of the 3 hour interview the CEO indicated I was their first interview for the position and that they'd be back in touch.

I reached out to the recruiter to follow-up a couple of days later and he told me that they were going to keep the position open, looking for a closer match.

Interview Questions

  • What was unexpected was that the interviews were all more social than technical or experience related. It was almost as if they'd already decided before I got there that I wasn't going to be a viable candidate.   Answer Question
