Why be a Princess when one can be a Queen? Besides, I prefer old-school Maleficent. She was decisive and stayed on point for 16 years.

When my son was about 5, we showed him a picture of all of the Princesses and asked him which one he liked best. He immediately pointed to Ariel. We asked him why and he answered: "Because she's naked!" (OK -- probably best not to use than answer in an interview. Unless you're 5.)

Shouldn't the question be, WHO IS your favorite Disney Princess?

New School or Old School? Old School would Cinderella - she is kind and hard working even under extreme duress, and she isn't afraid to dream or take a chance in order to try and achieve those dreams. New School would be Bell - she is smart and kind and is able to look past the facade and see who people really are. When put into a bad situation she makes the most of it and turns it into a positive. She also tries to do some of the saving herself. However, Sleeping Beauty is my favorite classic Disney movie due to the artistry and Maleficent.

The question does not ask WHO is your favorite Disney princess; it asks WHAT is your favorite Disney princess. If your favorite is Ariel, the answer would be "A Mermaid," or "A Ginger," or "Wet."

Jasmine---she didn't marry a prince or king, she married a poor man. She could see inside someone instead of sticking to the title of a person.

Cinderella! She showed me how to deal with people I don't get a long with graciously. She also showed me that if you work hard everyday and keep a positive outlook good things will happen.
