Very simple, just be yourself. They look for very happy and outgoing individuals. They also look for people who are flexible and not to stingy on their hours. Therefore, if you're the type of person who HAS to leave at the time you were scheduled, you will not last.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Whataburger (El Paso, TX) in August 2016.

    Interview

I applied online after calling the store to make sure they had positions open, and then called again a week later to check on the status of my application. I got an interview the next day. I arrived 10 minutes early prepared with me resume, paper, and a pen all in a professional looking folder. The GM was the one who interviewed me, a very kind man who really cared about his employees. Since I am in High School and participate in sports and Fine Arts, he expressed concern about if I was able to handle the workload, and was very willing to work around my schedule. When you show up, just be professional, kind, honest, and respectful. Due to being all these things I was hired on the spot. The entire interview lasted maybe half an hour because he liked me so much he just started talking about hiring me and what my schedule would be like and the responsibilities I would have, as well as the next steps for employment I had to take.
