Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Women's Community Clinic (San Francisco, CA) in December 2017.

Interview

30-minute phone interview with the Director of Administration (Katie). Katie is very friendly and easy to talk to, making this one of the least awkward phone interviews I've ever had! Unfortunately, I never heard back from the WCC despite a follow up email about a week after their intended deadline. Whoever gets this job is very lucky and I'm certain will have a great interview experience if it's anything like mine.

Interview Questions

  • Openly discusses the ambiguity around this role and asks which aspects of the job description are most relevant to my background, excite me the most. We also chatted about the office demographics, the future goals for the WCC, and how that aligned with my personal career goals and values. I like to ask interviewers what their least favorite part of working at their company is, and Katie remarked that she wished they had a larger budget to be able to better compete for top talent in the Bay. Overall, the interview was conversational and very honest, which I found refreshing.   Answer Question
