I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Workday in May 2015
Interview
on campus->on site
you interview with multiple people over the course of 5 hours
they make sure you know basic cs knowledge because they have their own language anway.
they compensate for your costs if you have to fly to pleasanton.
it took a couple of phone calls and emails to wake them up and ask for a response
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Workday in Mar 2022
Interview
- UML Diagramming (Object Oriented Programming, classes, attributes, relationships) and Improving model question (how to simplify existing relationships, minimize the methods and attributes, cardinality, etc.)
- behavioral HR interview about technical experience and personal background
I first had a phone call that was mostly behavioral to talk about the company, the position, and my qualifications. I later went on-site that consisted of 5 interviews. Everyone I talked to was friendly and sincerely seemed to enjoy what they were doing there. It was a laid-back interview process for the most part.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Workday
Interview
3 stage interview.
1. Phone interview with HR
2. Tech test - UML modelling problem. Conducted over a screen sharing application.
3. On-site with 3 separate interviewers from different teams/areas.
Overall interview process was very good compared to some others. Prompt responses and feedback from recruitment.
