I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Workiva (New York, NY) in November 2018.
Applied via a third party and was contacted by recruiter to set up a phone screening. Recruiter was prompt but barely asked any questions, except what I knew about Workiva. I knew a great deal about the company and I think the recruiter was impressed. However what annoyed me was asking my salary requirements, which I replied. The recruiter was from their HQ in Iowa and I don’t think appreciated I brought up cost of living in New York. And I even agreed that the salary they were offering was fine. I think he just didn’t like I knew a lot about the company upfront. Actually I have no idea why I wasn’t allowed to go on at all in the process. I have all the needed experience and the recruiter knew it. Not really sure why I didn’t move on. Maybe have a recruiter call from New York for NYC office instead of Iowa.
