    As the interviewer told me, the first interview at Zynga is often non-technical. It was mostly about my background and related experience. But yeah, as other posts said, he didn't even know what school I come from, so I'm not sure he had viewed my resume.

    Asked me some simple behavioral questions (why do you want to work for Zynga etc). He also asked some very simple technical questions such as differences between C and Java, differences between a linked list and an array.

    Non-Technical phone interview, followed by a full day of onsite interviews.

    • I did not encounter anything surprisingly difficult. Int terms of interviewing standards Zynga is pretty middle of the pack. There are much harder interviews in the Bay Area.   Answer Question

    Got an initial offer, followed by a 2 week period to accept/decline/re-negotiate terms. Salary /stock/bonus negotiation was a single round.

    Talked on the phone with a recruiter. Went over some resume stuff and told me to play around with Zynga games so an on-site interview. There will be 5 interviewers, 4 for technical and 1 managear. Although my friend failed early on and stopped at the 3rd interview

    Zynga contacted me via email about the position in question saying that they found me and my profile on LinkedIn and thought I would be a good candidate. I shot emails back and forth with the recruiter about a good time for a phone interview. After the phone interview I was declined via email.

Made to the second round, called by 3 interviewers in a roll, questions including system design, basic knowledge of your favourite language and the projects I did inside and outside class. Got the feedback a week after the interview.

    Interviewed first at school after career fair then got contacted by HR for a onsite interview, the onsite interview is consisted of 5-6 rounds, mostly technical with 1 round of HR. The technical interview questions are more about data structure and algorithms, make sure make enough practice and read your code once you finish writing on whiteboard. Questions are like merge-sort algorithm, find prime number, implement atoi, etc.
