I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zynga in October 2016.

    Interview

Phone conversation with recruiter, first round phone interview (technical), final round behavioral and technical phone interviews. My recruiter was super helpful, and all my interviewers were very genuine and real people. Based off them, the company culture sounded great and Zynga sounded like very caring company. Got my offer 2 weeks later, will probably accept the offer.

    Interview

I dropped off my resume at a Career fair and the entire process took about 2 months from when they contacted me. I had 3 phone interviews. A first one with a recruiter asking about my past experience. Then a first round interview for 45 minutes and then final round with 2 back to back 45 minute interviews. Questions were pretty standard data structures, differences between languages, etc.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zynga (San Francisco, CA) in July 2015.

    Interview

Had a phone interview that was relatively straight forward. Talked a little bit about myself then went straight into some programming questions followed by me asking them some questions. The interviewer was quite nice, he helped me out when needed and for one of the questions that I didn't know he explained its use and applications of it quite thoroughly. The job I applied for was Unity C# focused so the questions revolve around that.

    Interview Questions

    • First few questions were to gauge my knowledge of C# and data structures such as what a is generic collection, dictionary and lists, and what reflection is followed by some applications of the data structures in programming.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Zynga in January 2015.

    Interview

Behavioral phone screen followed by another round of technical phone interviews lasting about two hours with various engineers at Zynga. There were no actual coding questions. Most of the questions tested general CS knowledge, and there were a few questions that asked how you would handle a specific problem. If you payed attention in your core CS classes and can describe your projects inside-out with confidence, you're golden.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Zynga (Los Angeles, CA) in January 2015.

    Interview

The interview process was very well structured. I had a call with a university recruiter who asked me basic questions about my resume and enquired about my interest in games. A couple of days later, someone from the HR got in touch with me and scheduled my first interview. The first interviewer was very nice. He asked me a couple of technical questions and was satisfied with my answers. He also poked me a bit to improve on the time complexities of the algorithms I suggested to solve the problems. He was able to give me good feedback at the end of the interview. I was contacted by HR a couple of days later to schedule my next round of interviews. I had two interviews scheduled one after the other. Both the interviewers were very nice and asked me some challenging and some tough questions. Both seemed excited about their job and were able to answer my questions about the company and the work culture with ease
