ACT on it, Apologize, Correct, and Thank them. Alway listen to the guest, even if the situation can be outlandish. Apologize for the situation and if it's something that can be corrected. Do what you can to make the guest leave restaurant happy, whether giving a comped meal, discount, free dessert, gift card, etc. thank them at the end for bringing issue to your attention. Less

(Because I have both I was asked this): Would you agree to wear long sleeves to cover your arm tattoos and also remove your cartilage piercings and/or cover them with the bandana?

There is a long-sleeved version of the uniform and are some acceptable visible tattoos/piercings in the recently updated appearance policy. Less

I was surprised at this rule - I’ve had jobs where tattoos and piercings were asked to be covered but only if they were excessive (facial piercings) or offensive. I still agreed I would be fine with that, but surprised that the uniform shirt doesn’t have a long sleeved version due to this rule. I would have to layer. Less
